Hints of mint and briar came on the way to a finish of wonderfully soft tannins. Stonewell Shiraz uses the best batches of each vintage from various growers across the Barossa Valley. The 1999 vintage has proven to be a true star, even after the much lauded 1998 vintage. A slow maturer, the 1999 is only now beginning to reach the heights it was destined to.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
