About this product

The grapes were picked in the cool of the early morning and transported directly to the winery for crushing. After draining off skins, the wine was fermented at a cool temperature with neutral yeast over a two week period. After fermentation, the wine remained on yeast lees with regular bâtonnage for a number of months to enhance weight and mouthfeel. The selected parcel was fined and filtered prior to bottling in September.
Brilliant pale straw with a very slight tinge of varietal bronze. Aromas of nashi pear, crunchy apples, nectarine and honeysuckle. Bright fresh and fleshy fruit flavours of peach and nectarine, soft textural mid palate with a touch of viscosity followed by a crisp, freshening citrus acidity finish perfectly balanced with a touch of residual sweetness.
Enjoy with Spencer Gulf kingfish, celtuce, green daikon & smoked dashi, or charcoal roasted squid and pork belly with smoky chilli and roasted red onion.
