Smooth and intense seems to be the Katnook signature. Cassis, plums, cedar intermingle with a hint of attractive regional mint. A great introduction to the classic Australian wine style that is Coonawarra cabernet.

Good purple-crimson; the fragrant bouquet leads into an elegant, medium-bodied palate with clear-cut varietal character in blackcurrant/cassis/mint spectrum, along with a hint of earth. Good mouthfeel, length and balance; very impressive at the price.
