One of the original 2nd Growth estates in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, Cos d'Estournel (with the +s+ pronounced) resides in the northern Medoc appellation of Saint Estephe and sits alongside Chateau Lafite Rothschild in Pauillac. The 1983 +Cos+ is wine that is ready to be opened today with all the normally typical tannin structure fallen away to reveal a delicate and subtle wine.
