Koomooloo Vineyard. This is a mid-weighted and sturdy pinot. Mescal and Indian spice scents mark the use of whole clusters, imparting complexity and a carriage of fibrous tannins. Red cherry and rhubarb notes, too. Dense for the category, with the force of personality driving a sappy finish of moderate length.
