Jean-Louis ChavyPuligny-Montrachet Les Perrières
About this product
While the Chavy's have been living in Puligny-Montrachet for over 200 years, it wasn't until 1986 that Gerard Chevy began to estate bottle his own wine. The estate is broken up between the two sons, Jean-Louis and Alain. The 2008 Jean-Louis 1er Cru Puligny is made from vines that are over 20 years old and shows a lovely balance between richness and power. Expressive on the nose with soft edges with the palate showing good energy and persistence.
