What can I say. I'm a lover of heavy Aussie Shiraz and my favorite wine I ever drank was Italian Barolo, but I'm really happy with this Cabernet Merlot from De Bortoli. Can't get much better than that for a dry red at this price, I reckon.

This is a wine that we drink all the time and just wish that our local DM sto caked it so that we do not have to travel to Hervey Bay just to buy this.

I was searching for an alternative smooth, mild, after-dinner everyday value red, but the De Bortoli suffers by comparison with the Banrock Station Cabernet Merlot, (which I am happy to stay with).
