About this product

From humble beginnings in the early 1950's to the icon it has become today, Penfolds Grange is engrained into the wine psyche of wine lovers across the world. The vision of Max Schubert has born an Australian legend that is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia. A multi-regional masterpiece that shows power, concentration and balance to showcase the very best in Australian wine. The 2003 was a challenging year relying strongly on multi-district fruit selection. The nose is complex, with rhubarb, elderberry, vanilla and aniseed aromas and a hint of tobacco leaf. The palate is sweet and fleshy with generous elderberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours, followed by malty American oak and fine, dry tannins. Finishes with a firm grip.Bottle image is indicative only
