Originally an Apricot Orchard and re planted with Shiraz vines in 1974. Hence the name Apricot Block. Explosive nose of dark cherries, spice and a lick of brandy. Full rich flavour of dark chocolate , dark cherries and a peculiar distinct saltiness. Good length of flavour, Its hard to describe a wine of the gigantic proportions an balance. An impressive effort .

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
