You're not going to want for flavour here. This is a 15 per cent alcohol monster, thick with grainy, sandy, porty blackberry fruit and cedary, mocha-like oak. For all that there's a bit of class to this wine, a bit of strut, and the delicious-ometer rating is high. Ripe tannin rakes through the finish and draws back through the palate too. It's high quality - but not for the feint-hearted.

An opulent wine in every respect; fruit, oak, alcohol and berry and dark chocolate fruit; while medium- to full-bodied, it is soft; for early or later consumption.
