Leo BuringDW J17 Leonay Riesling 2006
About this product
Leo Buring was famously quoted as saying that "Winemaking isn’t a matter of life or death – it’s much more important than that!" That devotion to quality is evident in this exquisite example of Eden Valley Riesling from much heralded 2006 vintage in the Barossa region of South Australia. Specifically from the Eden Valley, this vintage Leonay was always destined to be a cellaring star with the abundance of orange citrus and complex minerality that dominates the palate. Wonderful balanced acidity is still evident in a Leonay for the ages.
