Pale quartz-green; has that extra touch of finesse that the Adelaide Hills confers on its rieslings, even if the flavour is not as marked as that of the Clare/ Eden Valley, delicacy and balance the order of the day, plus the benison of the vintage.

This is an uncompromising riesling from Wirra Wirra. It s got a lot of bite to it. Intense lemon and lime with overtones of red apples and a steely, chalky finish. The flavours shoot straight through your mouth and don t let go until long after you ve swallowed. I woudln t drink this young but I would drink this with time under its belt; it s a wine of fabulous purity, line and length.
