Foxey's HangoutPinot Noir
About this product
Foxey's Hangout began in 1998, at an old farmhouse in Red Hill. They planted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Shiraz. Since their early days they have gone from strength to strength. Powerful fruit and silky mouth feel are the hallmarks of this sensuous Pinot Noir. This wine is hand plunged in small open fermenters and matured in French oak barrels.

Light bodied red wines have a water-light mouthfeel and light flavour impact. Often pale to light/medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Vintage 2011

An estate-grown mix of MV6 and 115 clones from Foxeys' two vineyards. The decision to include 15% whole bunches was brave, but didn't upset the delicate balance of the red fruits of the light-bodied palate.
