About this product

Whitebox has been growing Shiraz grapes in Heathcote since 2000. Our wines showcase both the distinct influence of the region and our vineyards’ unique terroir. The 2018 Whitebox Heathcote Shiraz follows in the fine tradition of our previous vintages – an intensely fruity wine supported by French, Hungarian and American oak, with soft tannins and a lingering aftertaste. Whitebox wines are fashioned with respect to terroir and tradition. Drinking well now, this wine will also reward careful cellaring for many years to come.

I recently cracked a 2011- it was fabulous. Still had plenty of body, cork was 100% in tact and that beautiful Heathcote soft richness was awesome!

This wine is a solid flavoured shiraz with the smoothest finish I have tasted in a shiraz of this age. The earlier 2005 vintage was a standout and this one is no exception. Great to have discovered this wine is back on the shelves again.

value for money this is a great wine , i would not say it is a top level wine , but for a quaffing after work every day wine its great value .a nice fruity nose with a surprisingly soft palate, with a little astringency at the back,
