WynnsJohn Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon 1998
About this product
Wynns John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon is the ultimate expression of Coonawarra Cabernet. Considered by many as a stop above the rest in the region, John Riddoch is only made in the years that are considered truly great and can showcase the famed Terra Rossa soil at its finest. The 1998 John Riddoch comes from an acclaimed vintage and shows all the typical blackcurrant and cassis fruit even after over a decade in bottle. The fine grained tannins are now perfectly in balance to produce an Austrlaian wine gem.

Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Impenetrable red-purple; rich, concentrated and luscious blackberry/blackcurrant/cassis fruit on both bouquet and palate has largely - though not entirely - subsumed the oak. Likewise, the tannins are there, but are in perfect balance.
