The palate displays classic Semillon structure but unlike many other Hunter Semillons, the acidity is perfectly matched. There is a touch of grassiness emerging followed by hint of grapefruit and toasted honey. Soft acid finish followed by a long citrus, grassy aftertaste.

Light to medium yellow-green; has come through its transition phase and out of its shell to a remarkable degree over the past 12 months. A particularly complex bouquet with toasty/smoky characters, then a palate which opens with a similar range of flavours before tightening up and focussing with minerally notes and a long, piercing finish.
