RockfordBasket Press Shiraz 2001
About this product
The stunning 2001 was fashioned by the formidable team of Robert O'Callaghan and Chris Ringland. Initially, this dark ruby/purple-coloured effort is not overwhelmingly impressive, but with aeration, the nose opens to reveal scents of loamy earth, blackberries, currants, pepper, and underbrush. The complex aromatics are matched by a savoury, fleshy, structured, full-bodied palate possessing loads of earthy black fruits as well as subtle oak.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
