Château Haut-Brion2001
About this product
Known as the 'first of the firsts', Haut Brion was the only property outside Medoc given Premier Grand Cru status in 1855. The 2001 vintage was near perfect, with heaps of sun and very little rain. Dried fruit and flowers, graphite, cherries and wild strawberries on the nose are reflected in a palate that also adds stoney minerality and a long, succulent finish.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
