Château Gruaud LaroseSaint-Julien 2003
About this product
2e Cru Classé. 57% cabernet sauvignon, 30% merlot, 8% cabernet franc, malbec and petit Verdot. Ripe dark cherry fruit, firm tannins and decent acidity. The 2003 vintage was a very hot summer which produced very forward wines. They are ripe and lush, a very polarising vintage as they are not typical Bordeaux more like New World wines.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
