Penfolds Grange is a 60+ year instituation. A recent addition to the world of fine wine, Grange is the most famous of all Australian wines. From humble beginnings in the early 1950's to the icon it has become today, Penfolds Grange is engrained into the wine psyche of wine lovers across the world. The vision of Max Schubert has born an Australian legend that is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia. A multi-regional masterpiece that shows power, concentration and balance to showcase the very best in Australian wine. The 1979 Grange was matured for 18 months in new American oak hogsheads and will develop further complexity and integration of flavours for 35+ years or more under correct cellaring conditions.
