About this product

Penfolds Grange Shiraz began its life as a small dream of legendary winemaker, Max Schubert. From humble beginings in the early 1950's to the icon it has become today, Penfolds Grange is engrained into the wine physche of wine lovers across the world. The vision of Max Schubert has born an Australian legend that is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia. A multi-regional masterpiece that shows power, concerntration and balance to showcase the very best in Australian wine. The 1971 is silken, opulent with fleshy apricot/prune fruit and truffly, earthy, demi-glace undertones balanced by fine, sweet tannins and an extremely long finish. A superb wine.
