Theres balance here. Its big, firm, blueberried and mouth filling, with mounds of fine, filigreed, mature tannin and flavours of dark olive, blackcurrant, musk, salt, and spice-splashed cedar. Its a high and mighty wine of some power and tannin, but it seems to know itself well, it seems confident and compelling.

...lots of new French oak on both bouquet and palate, but also plenty of dark fruits; very good mouth feel and texture, ripe tannins; given the benefit of the oak doubt.''
