The one and only estate outside of the Médoc and Sauternes to be bestowed 1st Growth status, Château Haut-Brion is a benchmark producer of the Pessac-Leognan appellation creating some of the most sought after wines in the world. A good year for the Château, again crafting a beautifully classic vintage. Perfectly balance in structure the palate is features dense and highly complex fruit volume with the smooth, soft tannins little by little filling the mouth. Still very young the 2002 is no doubt a candidate for long term cellaring.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
