About this product

A traditional Australian blend of Cabernet and Shiraz. From the stellar 96 vintage with lovely inky blackberry/meaty/cedar/graphite aromas, dense, rich, generous, sweet-fruit flavours, under lying malt oak and slinky/chocolaty tannins. With incredible fruit power and energy. Drink to 2025.

A truly wonderful wine. I've tried a few vintages of Grange and RWT - and this certainly didn't disappoint.

The wine was left to 'breathe' for half an hour first. Big, bold dark fruit up front and a gorgeous, almost dark chocolate on the mid-palate. Glorious full bodied mouth feel with a long, satisfying finish. A 'tight' wine and well developed

I think we were a little impatient with this one. Poured from the bottle straight away left us a little underwhelmed, but letting the open bottle air for half an hour brought the wine to life. Great nose, very long lasting, developing flavo

This has all the hallmarks of a baby grange. Tased this against the 96 Grange, and let me say that the 389 certainly held its own. Whilst the Grange has alot more fruit power, and imparted oak, the 389 had incredible black fruit on the nose

Nice wine, but cork problems disappointed

Wine was excellent but the corks in both bottles crumbled as soon as we tried to open them. Not a good example for bottles in excess of $300 each
