The Limestone Ridge Vineyard lies directly above a ridge of Limestone which forms the backbone of Coonawarra's famous Terra Rossa strip. The soil depth is quite shallow, which results in excellent drainage and low-yielding vines which gives a wine full of rich, peppery fruit flavours, excellent structure and exceptional cellaring qualities.
