HenschkeCyril Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon 1994
About this product
Deep crimson colour. The nose displays a slightly herbal top note, which in no way detracts from the beautiful underlying aromas of violets, blackcurrants and spice. Ripe plum, confectionery and vanilla spice flavours fill the palate, which is enhanced by fine grained, persistent tannins. Long, blackcurrant, liquorice aftertaste.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Medium to full red-purple; fabulous cabernet varietal aromas, with pristine cassis fruit tinged with a touch of green olive and supported by subtle oak leads on to a wine which floods the mouth with cassis/berry fruit; superb texture, supple and round, yet with the authority of cabernet sauvignon. Retasted October '97 with similar notes.
