With an outlook over the Mediterranean sea a few hours south of Cataluña, the vineyards of Primitivo Quiles reside in the region of Alicante; a region planted with vine by the Phoenicians. With a history in the region since 1780, this family bodega is the oldest producer in the region and have a long and distinguished record of producing outstanding dessert wines. On the nose this wine is deeply fragrant with fresh floral notes and a wild earthy tone. Also of notes are notes of oranges, cold tea and a luscious grapiness. Wonderfully full-bodied, yet without heaviness on the palate.
