This Trivento Tribu Malbec has a complex blend of dark forest fruits, plumbs and dusty cherries on the nose with rounded tannins and subtle acidity structure on the palate. A beautifully made food wine.

The previous vintage may have got a slow hand clap but this 2016 is a cracker. A bargain at under $10. I have tried a lot of Malbecs for over $20 that are worse than this.
