This was a reviewed against the the Paul Mas (base) chardonnay. As with French Chardonnay, bouquet wand mouth feel were pleasant, fruit was somewhat stronger than the alternate Mas offering and aftertaste was also there.

Has a hint of cloves and is also a little bit oaky. Better to buy the less expensive chardonnay as it tastes way better. The clove taste makes me feel like I've been to the dentist in the 80s

Much better for less is available. Ordered six bottles and struggled to get through them...all the same, rough around the edges and a bit astringent.
