About this product

Te Kahu is a wine of richness, with lovely black fruit flavours, hints of spice and long, fine graceful finish. From gravelly soil, it is made very much in the image of good Bordeaux.

There is not much more that I can say other than this is a scrumptious wine. Quite honestly it is one of the most delicious wines I have ever tasted.

Although the older vintages seem to suffer from cork taint, the younger blends are superb. The blend varieties do alter from vintage to vintage. Although inexpensive compared to the other Craggy Range reds, this is an interesting wine.
