About this product

Established in 1970, Cape Mentelle is one of the founding wineries of the Margaret River region. Parcels of hand selected fruit from our unique vineyard sites are proudly showcased in our Winemaker’s Release. A classic expression of Margaret River Shiraz, this wine offers dark berry and rich plum flavours with nuances of olives and tobacco leaves. Balanced, fine tannins lead to a long and persistent finish.

I bought the 2021 vintage and given CM's history expected something really good given it was labelled as "Winemakers Reserve". Marked down to $18 and we find a $12 quality - lacking depth and length.
