Aroma is more pineapple/ citrus, then full on tropical coupled with toasted cashew notes from the French oak. Grapefruit pith and white nectarine carry through for a long finish. A fine textured palate with bright lime and citrus acidity. A Modern Australian Chardonnay at its best.

Whole bunch-pressing, wild yeast fermentation and maturation in French oak have all provided strands to weave the texture and structure of this elegant chardonnay; the fruit flavours are sotto voce, but definitely on the citrus side of the range courtesy of grapefruit juice and pith, crossing back momentarily to stone fruit (white peach); has all the length and balance needed for top class chardonnay.
