Not your average “savvy”, there’s a lot going on here. Classy Hawkes Bay soft passionfruit, high calibre with a savoury phenolic edge, black currant leaf, nice balance and layering. A “foodies” wine displaying far more complexity than most. Annie Clemenger of the Dan’s wine panel was very impressed - “This style will suit a wide range of cuisines.”
