About this product

Kirsch is a classic central European brandy made from cherries. The light but intensely floral drink is used in cooking but when added to drinks gives the heady aroma of blossoms.

You really can’t use anything else when you are making a cheese fondue. Sad it is not generally available but Dan Murphy’s the best.

This brandy is perfect for black forest cake. I'd previously bought the sweet liqueur-type cherry brandy in Australia which didn't work at all. This is a punch to the guts of alcohol with background notes of cherry pits - absolutely perfect
