About this product

Medium depth crimson with purple hues. An intense aroma of ripe Satsuma plum, herbal and savoury notes combine with hints of cedar and sweet spices. Rich, sweet fruit is balanced wonderfully by briary and sweet spices and lovely, silky tannins. A full-bodied, textural wine, showing great complexity with hints of cedar and allspice flowing through to the lengthy, peppery, fruity finish.

Great wine for this price bracket although 2006 not the best vintage

This is one of my favourite wines, although obviously at this price not an everyday drink! I do think that the 2006 was not their best though, maybe it needs a few more years in the cellar. This is a really smooth wine with a great flavours
