Perfectly ok for caipirinhas
Pinguça

If you want to make caipirinhas, 51 is perfectly fine. If you want a cachaça to sip like brandy, look for an aged one (repousada). 51 is pure cachaça--no additives to give you a headache. It doesn't have snob appeal, but who needs that?!?

Cheap and Nasty!
I Love Cachaça
28 July 2014
51 Cachaça is the lowest of the low in Brazil. Only good for smashing caipirinhas (it does have a purpose!). Pitu & Sagatiba equally nasty. C'mon Dan Murphy's - can't you source better than this? It costs AU$4.00 for a bottle in Brazil, and
