A firm palate is maryied with a mild smokiness and a delicious malty, butterscotch finish.

Very much enjoyed this. Has great depth for 8 years, and an interesting flavour profile. However, if at all possible, go for the 15 (perhaps the 12, I haven't had the pleasure of trying it). It's the difference between a very good whiskey,

This is a tale of 2 whiskeys. There is an older 8 year Glenfaclas out there that some still have in stock, and a newer one. I like them both. The older one is the robust one. A flavoursome dram with a good length and a cheeky disposition. T

A young but full of flavour example here. Lots of floral notes, not overly delicate but opens up a treat with a dash of water. Nice!
