A first time try for us but we really loved it! It's smooth and easy going but has the just the right amount of zestiness and toastiness. The box it comes in looks great too!

Super excited to try this, iconic Penfolds and sparkling or Champagne as it can actually be called. Certainly has the French notes on the nose and in ya gob. Not the length though. Really enjoyed it. But how will it stand up in the $70 cha

I was looking forward to my first bottle. Although coming from the Champagne region, this refreshing new entry felt more like a good sparkling wine than a fine French champagne. It lacked a refined character.

Harsh bubbles, where's the nougat? no length of palate. Go proper French at this price. This wine will have to be heavily discounted in the future.

Lacked any real depth and is significantly inferior not only to French Champagne in general, would not pass muster with any number of Australian Methode Traditionale sparkling wines
