The colour is the salmon-pink of a flashy rose, beyond anything I have ever seen from a pinot gris, the flavour appropriately imposing. The back label suggests a tiny touch of oak, but not the where or the how, although some fermentation on skins may be an answer to all the questions posed. What I can't understand is the price.
