Deep garnet colored with a hint of brick in the rim, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon reveals aromas of ripe creme de cassis, bay leaf, olives and soy with hints of leather and tobacco. Medium to full bodied with a good concentration of ripe berry and evolved savory flavors, it has medium to firm grainy tannins, a good acid line and a long layered finish.
