KooyongMeres Pinot Noir
About this product
Tight and intricately woven, the wine presents an array of aromatics, from attractive fruit notes (raspberry and cherry) to savoury elements of wild herbs and earth. A more delicate palate than its siblings, the fine, supple tannins run long with cranberry, orange zest and floral flavours. Elegant at this early stage, this wine will benefit from medium-term time in the cellar.

Medium bodied red wines have a lightly textured mouthfeel with moderate flavour impact. Often medium in colour.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Light, clear colour. The wine sits comfortably within the Kooyong Pinot Noir bracket. There are more red fruits, unexpected given it has less alcohol or, if you prefer, was picked earlier in the ripening curve.
