Smith & HooperWrattonbully Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
About this product
Deep magenta in colour with a crimson hue. The wine shows concentrated fruit aromas of plums and blackcurrants balanced by the aroma of rich, dark chocolate. The palate is bold and robust. Savoury red fruits combine beautifully with the tannins to create a rich, warm compote, balanced by mocha and subtle oak on the finish. Drinking well now and will cellar for 7 plus years.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Nicely done. Attractive flavours of blackcurrant, mulberry and sweet herbs. It performs well without raising your pulse.
