From vines planted 1868, 1966, '70 and '92, hand-picked, sorted, fermented with 25% whole bunches, the remainder whole berry, matured for 17 months in French barriques and hogsheads (20% new). The deepest colour and largest build of the Best's Shiraz's, here black and blue fruits have fine, but not apologetic, tannins running alongside the fruits - which don't give it (the tannins) even a passing glance).
