In Greek 'glykos' means sweetening. This wine is made from local varieties and while not like a dessert wine, it certainly has a decent amount of residual sugar.

One of my favourite wines

Hubby and I had this wine in a Greek restaurant in Melbourne. Tried everything new including white bate fish and this wine was the icing on the cake and the enjoyment of the evening.

Very typical of the local wines enjoyed while sailing around many of the small, less travelled Greek islands. Enjoy with lamb cutlets and a Greek salad.
