In the USA in the 1960's, Shaky's Pizza chain served Black Bavarian Beer in huge jugs, and this one takes me straight back there, glorious malty taste.

Wunderbar, what else could be said about this dark brew made in accordance to the German beer purity laws of the 1500s, best served chilled, the Dan Murphy bottle cooling machine does not do this beer justice in cooling to the optimum drink

This is NOT a wheat beer. And they are absolutely delicious. I just wish they were more affordable. But served ice cold and you won't be disappointed
