About this product

Balnaves has always produced a a classically elegant Coonawarra Cabernet. Blackcurrant fruit, liquorice and mineral characters are enhanced by cedary French oak. Beautifully balanced with a long, textured finish.

Never fails to impress. This is Coonawarra at its best. I was at their winery a couple of weeks back - that experience is a great way to be introduced to Balnaves wines.

My 2014 was fabulous in June2020. Beautiful deep red. Fragrant fresh and bright nose. Long rich palate, almost sweet. Threw a lot of fine tannins, which may hint it is nearing its peak. Easily worth the $35 I paid, and plays like a $60 coon

Thoroughly enjoyable and I thought great value at $15. Then I discovered I’d paid $48. Oops. Bit rich for my blood but very nice just the same.- Note to self: focus...
