About this product

The spicy fruit flavours are a legacy of the high proportion of grenache and add a lifted freshness to the more complex aged characters in the background. The palate is smooth and rich, with the mid-palate sweetness balanced by an elegant drying finish.

Enjoyable after dinner with friends

We love this aged tawny port after dinner with friends, or else to just sip slowly in front of a warm winter fire while enjoying the taste alone. An extra benefit if suffering with sore throat during winter, just gargle and swallow. Yum!

Grant Burge wines are superior to most Australian wines in that price range. Champagne, Merlot...red label, tawny port are all excellent. Going to buy the port for a neighbour as a present.

Finally a Tawny that tastes as it should and not like lollie water as so many do. A rich flavour backed up by a robust spirit in the background. And very affordable. I love the flavour of this one. Ralph A.
