Metaxa 5 Stars is a beautifully balanced marriage between ­fine wine distillates matured up to ­five years in oak casks and Muscat wines from the Aegean Islands. Dark honey in colour, it offers flowery, fruity aromas and soft, slightly woody flavours. Metaxa 5 Stars is perfect on its own or at the heart of delicious cocktails and long drinks.

A wonderfully smooth, aromatic brandy from Greece, that beats the French brandies hands down.

We absolutely love Metaxa! We do not mind is it is the 5 star, 7 star or 12 star. Each of them is very drinkable and feels luxurious. We have a nip most evenings, in winter we warm it slightly. What a lovely tipple.
