92 points Halliday Wine Companion
Destemmed and crushed to open fermenters, spending 11-15 days on skins, matured for 12 months in new (15%) and used French oak. Bright crimson-purple; you really have to wait until the aftertaste to understand and appreciate this wine: it's in that languorous, medium-bodied Langhorne Creek style, the tannins soft, the fruit fully ripe at 14%, the aftertaste revealing some black olive nuances, a faint edge to the tannins, and a whisk of oak that all add to the package.
