Wirra WirraScrubby Rise Shiraz Cabernet Petit Verdot
About this product
This soft and fleshy red with aromas of ripe plums and red berry fruits with textural mouth feel of blackcurrant is named after the Scrubby Rise vineyard that sits outside Wirra Wirra's ironstone cellars. The fact that it's completely flat and bereft of scrub doesn't worry the guys at Wirra, "nor should it worry you."

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

4 stars The Age Epicure
A well-made, multi-regional red blend from one of McLaren Vale's most consistent producers, Scrubby Rise has a pleasant mix of ripe berry fruits, spice and earthy regional notes, lightly touched by oak. In the mouth it's a mellow, easy-drinking style with gentle tannins.
